Job description

Toyota of Melbourne, home of the Lifetime Warranty is looking to expand our sales opportunities by growing our VIP Sales Team. 

In this role, you will be interacting with the 100+ service guests on a daily basis, being the liaison between Service and Sales. By asking the right questions and using the answers effectively, you will gauge the interest of customer for an upgrade opportunity and lead the prospect down the sales process.  

This role is for a self-motivated person with a strong understanding of automotive purchase structure. You will be initiating appraisals, demonstrating upgraded features/benefits and negotiating every transaction from A to Z while maintaining an above store average PVR.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of being a top producer and understands the importance of this department. Previous/current Floor Closers, bilingual rockstars and anyone with “Deal Vision” are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Qualify buyers by understanding their wants and needs.
  • Listen to what is important and guide them in the right direction.
  • Provide customers a vehicle “walk-around” and show them the newest features and options that they’re interested in.
  • Effectively negotiate with customers and help complete their initial paperwork.
  • Keep your product knowledge up to date with the latest features and model changes.
  • Follow up with customers before and after the sale to encourage repeat business and maintain customer service.
