About the team:
Our Marketplace and Production team plays a central role in helping our vintage and antique products find their new homes. As a wider team, the Marketplace Team ensure that each product is accurately categorised and showcased to reach the right audience on a variety of selling platforms. 

About the role:
As a Vintage Product Assessor, you will be a flexible team player working across a variety of teams within the Marketplace Department. You'll work across a wide range of vintage products, supporting our Production Managers by ensuring that items are effectively sorted, grouped and listed on the most suitable platform. Training in each product category will be provided, and a passion for vintage and antique collectibles will make you a great fit for this varied role.

Getting Started...
  • Complete the initial training in product sorting and categorisation across various vintage product lines. 
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketplace Department Managers to learn about listing standards and processes. 
  • Gain familiarity with departmental KPIs and begin contributing to team goals, particularly regarding product listings and quality standards. 
Establishing your Impact... 
  • Build confidence in assessing, sorting and listing a wide variety of vintage items with minimal supervision.
  • Actively contribute to the team's listing targets by producing accurate, high quality product descriptions. 
  • Strengthen your collaboration with the Marketplace Teams to help maintain a productive and collaborative environment. 
  • Become a trusted member of the team, sharing best practices and supporting initiatives to improve efficiency. 
  • Achieve and exceed listing KPIs in collaboration with the Marketplace Department. 
  • Ensure accuracy and quality in product listings, aligning with department standards. 
  • Actively support a collaborative work environment, fostering productivity and shared success. 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Sort, group and categorise various vintage products accurately, ensuring they are listed on the most suitable platforms.

  • Write detailed, precise product listings that meet the standards of each platform and align with departmental expectations. 
  • Demonstrate strong IT and administrative skills, type efficiently and communicate effectively in writing across various listing platforms. 
  • A passion for vintage and antique items, such as jewellery, watches, other collectibles. 
  • Ability to work productively and accurately when performing regular tasks, maintaining a high standard. 
  • Competency with IT and tools, especially in creating listings and maintaining records on online platforms.
