Job Overview

This position is responsible for performing a variety of routine duties involving a number of manual and other related operations throughout the Yankee Candle Village Store, including exterior grounds and parking lot. Also, providing cheerful customer service by way of advice, information, and assistance to our customers and guests.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Emptying trash & cleaning the employee and guest restrooms and support areas
  • Routine cleaning, restocking, and disinfecting of restrooms and support areas
  • Work with various personnel to conduct set up for various company events as needed.
  • Support P&GS staff and various personnel as needed with routine cleaning, maintenance, and other duties throughout the store.

Qualifications:

  • Basic math and reading skills required.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service, offering customer assistance and information as needed.
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
  • A valid driver's license and a safe driving record required.
  • Demonstrated ability to exert physical effort up to 40% of the time to handle weights over 60 lbs.
  • The ability to safely operate a variety of power tools such as cordless drills and common hand tools.
  • The ability to drive and or operate power equipment such as All Terrain vehicles, and snow blowers.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.

The MA base pay range for this position is from $15.00 to $18.75. Salary will be based on prior experience related to the skills required for this position.
