Medical Assistant – Vietnamese Speaking
We are seeking a professional, compassionate, and dependable Medical Assistant who is fluent in Vietnamese to join our healthcare team at Renew Vein and Vascular. The ideal candidate will provide excellent patient care, communicate effectively with patients and staff, and help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our medical office. we have three locations throughout Los Angeles, this candidate would primarily be in our Westminster office.

Qualifications

  • Medical Assistant certification preferred; equivalent clinical experience considered
  • Fluent in Vietnamese and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and families
  • Previous experience in a medical office, clinic, or healthcare setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of basic clinical and administrative medical assistant duties
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Professional, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

Capabilities & Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist patients in a friendly, professional manner
  • Communicate with Vietnamese-speaking patients to help ensure clear understanding of appointments, instructions, and care
  • Room patients, obtain vital signs, and document medical histories
  • Assist providers with examinations and procedures
  • Perform basic clinical duties within scope of training and practice
  • Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical supplies
  • Schedule appointments and assist with front-office duties as needed
  • Accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR)
  • Handle patient calls and communicate messages to providers and staff
  • Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times
  • Provide compassionate, culturally sensitive patient care
  • Work collaboratively with physicians, providers, and the healthcare team
