Like sports? Want to be part of the game? Then join our team and get hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of college athletics. At every Yellowjacket home game, a team of students works to give the student-athletes and spectators a memorable game day experience.

Here's what you need to know to be part of our Stream Team!

  • Must be a current UW-Superior student.

  • Students eligible for Federal Work Study encouraged to apply.

  • Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Previous sports and video experience preferred, but not required - we will provide you with training on how to set up stream equipment and run a successful stream.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Running Camera/Cameras for live stream.

  • Handle stream controls, video switching, going live.

  • Manage future broadcasts.

  • Upload short video content for social media use.

  • Help with setup of stream equipment.

  • Keep stream equipment clean and well maintained.

TIME COMMITMENT & TRAINING:

  • Training will include how to run the stream, how to run a camera, and how setup works.

  • Minimum Work Hours of 5 hours/week and Maximum of 25* hours/week. Work hours will vary based on athletic game schedule per pay period

  • Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and hours during holiday breaks

  • Training to occur at beginning of employment and yearly staff meeting

Compensation:

Position: Technology - Level 2
Pay Rate: $12.00/hour

Notice to New Employees: Employment will require a criminal background check. A pending criminal charge or conviction will not necessarily disqualify an applicant. In compliance with the Wisconsin Fair Employment Act, the University does not discriminate on the basis of arrest or conviction record.

*Maximum of 20.00 hours/week for international student employees to comply with VISA requirements. Additionally, maximum of 25.00 hours/week for domestic students working under a student assist contract to comply with ACA regulations.

It will also require your references to answer questions regarding employee misconduct, sexual violence and sexual harassment. The University reserves the right to check references with notice given to the candidates at the appropriate time in the process.
