Job Summary

The Photographer/Videographer brings the Yami brand to life across photo, video, and digital media. This hands-on role partners closely with the Creative, Marketing, and Retail teams to produce polished, on-brand visual assets for current and new products — from concept and shoot through edit and delivery. The ideal candidate combines strong technical photo/video skills with an efficient, modern workflow, including the use of AI tools to speed up editing, retouching, and content production without compromising quality or brand consistency.

Job Responsibilities

· Photograph and film new and existing products for use across web, app, social, and retail channels

· Partner with the Creative team to concept, plan, and produce high-quality, on-brand photo and video content consistently and on schedule

· Shoot and edit photo and video assets that tell the Yami brand story, including lifestyle, still life, and product-focused content

· Use AI-powered tools (e.g., for editing, retouching, background removal, upscaling, and rough-cut video assembly) to accelerate production timelines and increase output without sacrificing quality

· Stay current on AI advancements in photo/video production and proactively recommend tools or workflows that improve speed, consistency, or creative quality

· Coordinate with Marketing and Retail teams on cross-functional projects, ensuring assets meet campaign and platform requirements

· Organize, manage, and maintain the photo and video asset library for easy access and reuse across teams

· Update the website and other digital platforms with new photo and video content as needed

Basic Qualifications & Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree with relevant field experience, or 2+ years of comparable professional experience

· Hands-on experience with both photography and videography, including shooting and editing

· Comfortable incorporating AI tools into a creative workflow (e.g., generative editing, automated retouching, AI-assisted video editing)

· This position is on-site Monday through Friday (Brea office, occasional in Eastvale office)

· Bilingual in Chinese and English

Preferred Qualifications & Requirements

· Bilingual in Chinese and English

Extensive knowledge of all aspects of video production, from pre-production through final delivery

· Professional photography and videography portfolio

· Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Lightroom, After Effects)

· Working knowledge of AI-powered creative tools (e.g., Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, Runway, Topaz Labs) and how to apply them responsibly within brand guidelines

· Proficiency with camera equipment ecosystems (camera bodies, lenses, lighting, and grip equipment)

· Knowledge of the latest trends in mobile and digital video, including short-form and social-first content formats

· Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for product and still life photography

· Familiarity with e-commerce or retail product photography best practices
