Position Description:

Position Title: Communications Coordinator
Department/Ministry: Operations
Location: Central- Omaha Campus
Supervisor's Title: Administration Pastor
Position Classification: Non-Exempt
Position Status: Regular, Hourly, Full-time (40 hours per week)
Ministerial Status: Non-Pastoral
Position Summary:
The Communications Coordinator is responsible for providing leadership and administration for Digital
Outreach & Communications Teams at StoneBridge while protecting the brand and voice and digital
reach of StoneBridge.ย 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Digital Outreach
  • Serve as Digital Outreach Team Lead
    • Oversee project management
      • Serve as the point of contact for Churchwide Communications
      • Develop and coordinate overall communications timeline
      • Meet with pastors and ministry leaders to plan, develop, create, and implement communications projects including: graphic design, print and merch products, advertising and marketing and more.
    • Oversee Churchwide Communications budget
    • Provide administrative quality control for all communications content for Communications Team and across all other ministry teams, including but not limited to: branding, graphics, written content, etc. Guide/train the staff in the quality of communications coming from their ministries.
    • Plan, coordinate, and execute documentation (photo and video) of churchwide events for publication through use of the Capture Team made up of Difference Makers.
    • Oversee sb.church website. Ensure updates are live โ€“ daily as needed. Evaluate and develop a strong website that is guest friendly (look, feel, and verbiage)ย 
    • Maintain and update the Church Center app and SBCC YouTube channel.
    • Review social media posts and weekly plan with the Communications team. Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy across platforms in alignment with the churchโ€™s vision and seasonal ministry focuses. (Platforms include: instagram, facebook, YouTube, X)
    • Record weekly online attendance from all viewing platforms.
    • Oversee content calendar, analytics and performance reporting to refine strategy and maximize reach and engagement.
  • Video Production & Graphics
    • Design graphics or work with graphic design contractors.
    • Record videos for church-wide initiatives and to tell stories. Work with the Creative Arts Pastor to approve, prioritize, organize, and ensure completion of StoneBridge video requests.ย 
    • Assist with weekly hosting video production and hosting content (communion, giving, new here, and highlighted ministry moments).
    • Edit and produce quality video content. Manage video production and editing: record, edit and optimize videos using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premier Pro, Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve.ย 

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

Education and Experience:
  • Associateโ€™s degree or equivalent experience required, bachelorโ€™s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with marketing, communications, graphic design, and/or videography/photographyย 
  • Experience working in a church, nonprofit, ministry, or similarly mission-drive organization preferred.
Knowledge & Skills:
  • Basic photography and on-site filming experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of effective and current Digital Outreach systems and methods to include: Creative Suite programs, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator, as well as Canva.ย 
  • Adept in design and an acute attention to detail
  • Team building and self-multiplication
  • Culture builder- able to organize, think creatively, and be highly productive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously.ย 
  • Relational and Systems minded
  • Proven leader with high administration skills
