Overview:
The National Sales Manager is responsible for meeting sale revenue goals through new business growth and account management of existing clients while seeking to find new areas of opportunity in client accounts for additional revenue opportunities. This person will create and maintain relationships with clients across the rental and staging industry. This position will work closely with the members of the Customer Success Team and Logistics Teams and will report directly to the Vice President of Sales and Director of Sales of Nationwide Video.
Essential Functions:

  • Identify and convert prospects and current clients in the rental and staging market into consistent, repeat clients in new equipment purchases. 
  • Maintain regular contact with clients seeking additional sales opportunities.
  • Engage with clients to determine proper needs and consult on product selection for accessories and add-ons.
  • Achieve business growth in market share and revenue.
  • Maintains and share information obtained in the field using our CRM and communicate proper reporting of prospects and client pipeline.
  • Prepare forecasting of projected monthly, quarterly and annual sales.
  • Participate in all activities needed to support the management functions of the team as assigned.
  • Act as an advocate for clients to aid them in their interactions with the Customer Success team.
  • Establish and maintain on-going client relationships with the various parties to anticipate and resolve potential problems.
  • Assist the management team by providing market analysis, intelligence, strategy recommendations, and perform coaching as requested.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely used standard office equipment such as computers, phone, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Other locations may include warehouse environments and are regularly exposed to heavy machinery and noise.
Physical Demands:
Walk, sit, stand, bend, lift, and move continually during work hours. Is subject to lifting over 10 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 6:00pm.
Travel:
  • This position must be able to travel at least 50% of the time.
  • Personal vehicle for transportation, valid driver’s license and insurance

Required Education and Experience:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in new product sales and/or field sales with a proven record of success.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in business development and/or field sales.
  • 5+ years of experience in new product sales in the Audio-Visual field.
  • Technical Certification or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
