Job Description
What We're Looking For
Baylor Athletics is seeking a motivated, creative, and service-oriented team player to join our Brand Engagement team as the Associate Director of Video Production. This role is instrumental in driving Baylor's storytelling across social, digital, and in-venue platforms, helping elevate the brand, deepen fan engagement, and support revenue-generating initiatives.
This position will serve as a lead content producer for assigned sport programs while contributing to Baylor's integrated Brand Engagement ecosystem. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of video production, social-first content strategy, and the evolving landscape of college athletics.
A bachelor's degree and less than one year of relevant work experience are required. A bachelor's degree, two years of relevant work experience, and demonstrated experience in sports videography, editing, and digital content strategy are preferred. This role will report directly to the Assistant AD for Digital Media.
What You Will Do
Content & Storytelling
  • Create high-impact video content tailored for social media, digital platforms, and in-venue experiences
  • Serve as the lead video producer for assigned sport programs, including primary oversight of Baylor Volleyball and Baylor Softball, with required travel to away competitions, while supporting additional sport programs and key initiatives across Baylor Athletics
  • Capture both video and photography assets to support storytelling and brand consistency

Brand Engagement & Strategy
  • Develop and execute content strategies that drive fan engagement, attendance, and brand growth
  • Contribute to @BaylorAthletics and sport-specific social media initiatives with a social-first mindset
  • Support student-athlete storytelling and personal brand development through creative content

Revenue & Partnerships
  • Collaborate with Playfly Sports to develop sponsored digital content and fulfill partnership obligations
  • Assist in identifying and executing new digital sponsorship opportunities through content

Game Day & Event Coverage
  • Shoot and produce video content at home events and other key athletic competitions, and travel for postseason and championship coverage as needed
  • Support in-venue production needs as part of the broader fan experience strategy

Collaboration & Team Integration
  • Work closely with Branding and Creative Services, Athletics Communications, and Marketing & Fan Experience to ensure alignment across all content efforts
  • Contribute to an integrated content ecosystem that supports Baylor Athletics' broader Brand Engagement goals

Other
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
  • Comply with all University policies.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
