Job description

Job Title: Piping Designer

Job Description

Develop 2D drawings and 3D models for utility piping systems, specifically in natural gas engineering and design. Produce piping layouts, isometrics, equipment arrangements, sections, details, and material takeoffs. Design and revise utility pipeline crossings for railroads, highways, and other infrastructure. Partner with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver coordinated, code-compliant designs. Apply project specifications and industry standards, including API and ASTM requirements. Perform field walkdowns, verify existing conditions, and incorporate design revisions. Resolve design clashes and support constructability reviews using 3D modeling tools. Ensure drawing quality, accuracy, and document control throughout the project lifecycle. Provide technical support to estimating, procurement, and construction teams.
