As a Senior Video Compression Development Engineer, you will write great code to process our customers' video and metadata. We are the Elemental Video Engine team, responsible for everything that happens to a pixel in the AWS media services MediaLive and MediaConvert, as well as AWS Elemental appliances. These services and appliances are trusted by some of the biggest names in the industry to reliably deliver the best video quality per bit.
We are an experienced team, currently distributed between Portland, Oregon; Vancouver, British Columbia; and San Jose, California. We are doers: we focus on solving customer problems, with all team members coming up with new ideas and implementing production code.
