How does a Video Editor typically collaborate with directors and other creative team members during a project?

Video Editors work closely with directors, producers, and other creative professionals to bring a shared vision to life. Collaboration often involves reviewing raw footage together, discussing narrative flow, and exchanging feedback on cuts, transitions, and pacing. Their work is essential in film, television, online content, advertising, and many other industries.
