Who We Are:

AVANTech, LLC solves some of the most challenging problems in the water industry - from being first responders to the Fukushima Nuclear Plant meltdown to implementing patented first of its kind technology. Our projects include industrial water recycling at government sites. AVANTech's goal is to improve the environment around us and support our clients with innovative sustainable water treatment solutions. We are seeking an experience Quality Control Associate I to join our team in the Quality Assurance Department.

A Day in the Life:

  • File physical and electronic documents exactly as received
  • Scan and upload documents into the document management system
  • Apply basic file naming and folder structure per instructions
  • Retrieve documents upon request
  • Archive records as directed
  • Log receipt and transfer of documents
  • Maintain confidentiality and document integrity

What will set you up for success:

  • Exceptional attention to detail with a sharp eye for document accuracy and formatting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Work, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal - to effectively interface with engineering, QA, and project teams
  • Proactive, organized, and self-directed with the ability to mange multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • Basic understanding of document management purpose
  • Familiarity with company filing structure and EDMS navigation
  • Understanding of confidentiality and controlled environments

    Minimum Requirements:

    • 2-3 years of experience in an administrative, document control, or quality support role
    • Demonstrated ability to organize and maintain complex documentation systems, both physical and electronic
    • Proven data entry proficiency with a high degree of accuracy
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Adobe for document editing and formatting
    • Excellent written communication skills for editing, summarizing, or compiling information clearly
    • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistent attention to detail and quality
    • Familiarity with electronic file naming conventions, indexing, and file version control
    • Experience handling confidential or regulated documents under quality assurance or compliance standards
    • Ability to follow detailed instructions and document procedures with minimal supervision
    • Comfortable with basic office equipment (scanners, printers, label makers) and digital archiving processes
