True Classic is hiring a Social Media & Content Creator to take ownership of developing and executing high-performing short-form social content that drives engagement, brand relevance, and growth across key social platforms. This role will lead social storytelling and content creation efforts, ensuring True Classic remains culturally relevant, platform-native, and performance-minded across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and emerging social channels. This role is ideal for someone who is creative, trend-obsessed, entrepreneurial, and highly collaborative and can concept, produce, and publish engaging social-first content at speed in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
All of True Classic's roles are global and omni-channel, leading designated areas of accountability across all product categories, countries, and sales and marketing channels. This role will have impact across DTC, retail, wholesale, marketplaces, and emerging channels, ensuring strategic alignment and executional rigor across the enterprise.
Areas of Accountability
Social Content Strategy & Execution
  • Own and execute social content strategy across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and emerging platforms
  • Develop platform-native content that aligns with brand priorities, audience behaviors, and cultural trends
  • Build and manage a social content calendar that balances product storytelling, trend participation, and brand moments
  • Identify opportunities to increase engagement, reach, and brand affinity through short-form video content
Content Creation & Production
  • Plan, shoot, edit, and publish high-performing short-form videos across social platforms
  • Produce content in both UGC-inspired and in-house branded formats
  • Create reactive, trend-driven content that feels authentic and native to each platform
  • Utilize editing and production tools to rapidly execute high-quality social content
Brand Storytelling & Community Engagement
  • Act as on-screen talent or voice of the brand when appropriate
  • Translate product features, campaigns, and brand messaging into engaging social-first narratives
  • Develop content that reflects internet culture, Gen Z humor, and evolving social behaviors
  • Create content designed to drive shares, saves, conversation, and community engagement
Performance Optimization & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Monitor content performance and optimize creative strategy based on platform insights and analytics
  • Partner cross-functionally with marketing, product, creative, and growth teams to support launches and campaigns
  • Stay ahead of emerging trends, platform updates, and creator best practices
  • Contribute ideas and creative solutions that support broader brand and business objectives
Cross Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Marketing and Growth teams to support product launches, campaigns, and performance initiatives
  • Work with Creative and Brand teams to ensure social content aligns with overall brand storytelling and visual direction
  • Collaborate across internal stakeholders and external creators/partners to execute culturally relevant and high-performing social content
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience creating or managing content for a social-first brand or personal platform
  • Proven ability to build engagement and reach through short-form content across TikTok, Instagram, and emerging social platforms
  • Strong understanding of social storytelling, editing, pacing, and trend-driven creative development
  • Experience with mobile video production and editing tools including CapCut, InShot, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and highly collaborative environment
  • Strong written, visual, and verbal communication skills
  • Deep understanding of internet culture, Gen Z trends, and platform-native content behaviors
  • Passion for fashion, men's lifestyle, and eCommerce is a plus
