Bring brands to life through social-first storytelling that builds meaningful consumer connections and drives business impact. As a Sr. Social Media Content Specialist for GALLO, you'll lead social content strategy across priority and emerging platforms, turning audience insights, cultural trends, and performance data into content strategies that fuel engagement, relevance, and brand growth.
In this role, you'll shape content direction from ideation through optimization, developing annual, campaign, and channel strategies that balance planned programming with real-time opportunities. You'll identify emerging trends, uncover whitespace opportunities, establish platform KPIs, and translate social listening and analytics into actionable recommendations that influence what comes next.
You'll serve as a Center of Excellence for social-first brand expression, helping define best practices across content strategy, tone of voice, community engagement, creator partnerships, and platform innovation. Working closely with Brand Marketing, Creative, PR, Compliance, Analytics, and agency partners, you'll provide strategic guidance that elevates social media excellence across the organization.

What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of social media marketing, content strategy, content marketing and/or digital marketing experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of Gallo digital marketing, sales, marketing, advertising, public relations or account management experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility and 2 years of social media marketing, content marketing, content strategy and/or digital marketing experience; OR High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 8 years of social media marketing, content strategy, content marketing and/or digital marketing experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Required to travel up to 25% of the time in order to conduct job duties.
  • Proven experience in growing and engaging social media audiences.
  • Experience in content creation in a marketing setting.
  • Experience with UGC/EGC/CGC including filming, editing and being on camera.
  • Demonstrated experience working with video editing platforms such as CapCut, Edits, Canva, InShot, and Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Required to remain up to date with social media trends and what is successful and trending on social platforms.
  • Experience in social media metrics and monitoring tools (I.e. Emplifi or Sprout Social).
  • Proven ability to be a creative and innovative thinker, including excellence in concepting & copywriting.

Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
