They are skilled at trimming clips, adding music, filters, text, transitions, and other effects to create engaging video content. These professionals understand how to optimize videos for different platforms and can enhance the overall visual appeal and storytelling of a video. Their expertise helps clients produce high-quality videos efficiently, even without advanced editing software.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a video editor using InShot?

  • Stay on top of what's happening online (trends, audio, cultural moments) and identify smart, timely stand-out ways for Magic Spoon to join in on the conversation
  • Manage the social content calendar, including recommending content pillars and cadence, aiming to accelerate the reach and engagement on Instagram and TikTok
  • Ideate and execute brand collabs and giveaways, based on pillars and key moments
  • Source, brief, and manage select external creators to product content
  • Launch and manage a weekly brainstorm with marketing team members to ideate, pitch and develop new content ideas
  • Manage monthly social reporting, specifically around content performance insights
  • Community Management - partner with CX team to infuse brand tone of voice in guidelines, as well as engage with brand content comments and DMs in a way that is on brand, positive, and timely
  • Partner with TOF lead to identify influencer collabs
Qualifications
  • 2-5 years of experience with a proven track record of growing a brand’s presence and engagement on Instagram and TikTok
  • Must be comfortable with UGC including filming, editing and being on camera

  • Up to date with social media trends and what’s working and trending on TikTok and Instagram
  • Proven ability to be a creative and innovative thinker including excellence in concepting & copywriting
  • A love of all things fitness, healthy eating, and knowledge about key creators and brands in the better for you space
Benefits
  • Competitive salary & equity
  • Bonus eligibility
  • 100% covered Health, Vision, Dental insurance (50% covered for dependents)
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Generous parental leave
  • Flexible vacation
  • Paid company holidays
  • Paid sick leave
  • Catered lunch in office
  • Dog friendly office
  • Unlimited cereal
