This contract role will help increase video output, improve production quality, and streamline filming workflows while supporting both long-form YouTube content and short-form social media videos.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a hands-on production environment, assisting with filming, editing, equipment management, and shoot logistics. This role requires both in-studio production work and periodic travel for on-location filming.

What You'll Be Doing
Reporting to the VP, the Video Producer will:
  • Support in-studio video production, operating cameras, lighting, and audio equipment while capturing high-quality A-roll and B-roll of hosts and gym equipment. You'll help maintain brand visual standards, assist with multi-camera setups, and manage footage organization and backups.
  • Own short-form video editing, transforming long-form content into engaging clips for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok, and X. This includes crafting strong hooks, adding captions and motion graphics, and optimizing edits for engagement and retention.
  • Assist with long-form YouTube editing, supporting rough cuts, syncing audio, selecting strong takes, and adding B-roll and graphics while collaborating with the lead editor to improve pacing and viewer retention.
  • Capture detailed equipment footage, including close-ups, movement shots, and assembly visuals used across product reviews, while organizing footage into a structured internal library.
  • Provide production and creative support on filming days, helping with set setup, lighting adjustments, thumbnail sourcing, and shoot logistics to keep production efficient.
  • Travel periodically for content production, assisting with filming at manufacturer visits, trade shows, gym tours, and other industry events while managing equipment, mobile filming setups, and daily footage backups.
What You Bring
  • Experience with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro (or similar), with familiarity in After Effects preferred.
  • Working knowledge of camera systems, lighting setups, and audio equipment used in studio or content production environments.
  • Strong understanding of short-form social video editing and how pacing, captions, and visual movement improve engagement.
  • Solid organization and file management skills, including media backups and structured project workflows.
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset and the ability to adapt in fast-paced production environments.
  • Willingness to travel periodically for on-location shoots and support dynamic production schedules.
What We Look For
  • Openness to feedback and collaboration: You'll be working closely with folks across different teams, so you'll need to be open to the process and accept feedback and critique.
  • Strong communication skills: You'll have the ability to build relationships with external stakeholders, report up to internal stakeholders, and foster strong alignment with your team.
