Membership Content Specialist

About the Role

The Membership Content Specialist supports the development, delivery and continuous improvement of CFA Institute's member content ecosystem - including the Career Library, AI Hub, Member Portal, newsletters, webinars and other digital engagement channels. Working closely with Membership, Product, Marketing and Technology, you'll turn strategic priorities into scalable content experiences that drive member engagement, adoption and value realisation.

You'll be accountable for the effectiveness of Membership's content operating model - from governance frameworks and performance measurement to AI-enabled content capabilities. Using analytics, member insights and market intelligence, you'll identify opportunities to improve content effectiveness, operational efficiency and member outcomes.

What You'll Do
  • Lead content planning and roadmaps aligned to Membership's priorities, managing a portfolio of content initiatives and resources, and spotting emerging member needs and industry trends that shape future recommendations
  • Monitor engagement and content performance, using analytics and member insights to drive data-informed optimisation, and deliver regular reporting that shows the impact of content initiatives against Membership's objectives
  • Build, maintain and apply governance standards for content creation, curation, approval and lifecycle management - including running governance forums, tracking actions, and flagging risks or gaps for leadership
  • Support the rollout of AI-enabled content capabilities across Membership - assessing emerging tools and best practices, running pilots, and helping scale what works into everyday content workflows
  • Partner across Membership, Product, Marketing, Technology and Analytics on cross-functional content and member experience initiatives, contributing subject matter expertise to strategic planning discussions
  • Manage relationships, budget and performance for external content providers, agencies and specialist contributors, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and return on content investment
What You'll Bring

Experience & Education

  • Significant experience in content strategy, digital content management, member engagement or editorial leadership
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives within complex, global organisations
  • Experience using analytics and audience insights to inform content strategy and decision-making
  • Experience managing external partners, contributors or vendors
  • Experience within professional associations, financial services or membership organisations preferred

All salary ranges are subject to adjustment based on experience, education, and other factors relevant to the position including location. Additional benefits include eligibility for an annual incentive bonus, a 12% employer contribution to a 401(k) or pension plan, and a comprehensive medical benefits package.
