Key Responsibilities

  • Produce at least 2 videos per week on average using Greenwood Homes’ content framework
  • Handle all aspects of video production, including shooting, editing, and post-production
  • Work closely with Content Manager and Director of Marketing to integrate video into the greater content strategy
  • Coach and prep team members and customers to feel comfortable and confident on camera, helping them become on-screen brand ambassadors
  • Organize a digital asset library and maintain consistency in naming, metadata, workflow
  • Ensure that video content is optimized for various platforms, including YouTube and social media
  • Stay current on trends (short-form video, reels, TikTok-style content)
  • Occasionally assist with staging or styling (coordinate with interior/design)
  • Travel locally to communities and model home sites and monthly to our markets in Raleigh-Durham, NC and Hampton Roads, VA

Qualifications & Skills

  • Portfolio of photography + videography showing technical & aesthetic skill
  • Proficiency in tools: Adobe Creative Suite (Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere / After Effects or similar)
  • Experience with video editing, color grading, motion graphics a plus
  • Ability to conduct research and identify needed equipment for Greenwood to purchase
  • Ability to operate and maintain proper levels of calibration of cameras, audio and video recorders, and other production equipment.
  • Embrace of new technology as it develops
  • Basic understanding of branding and marketing concepts, including tracking of video marketing metrics
  • Drone / aerial videography license & experience, or ability to get one
  • Strong understanding of lighting, composition, visual storytelling
  • Excellent time management, ability to juggle multiple shoots, post production, and staying on schedule
  • Comfortable working independently and as a member of a team
  • Very detail-oriented and able to identify quality issues in audio and video
  • Understanding the basics of social media and video hosting
  • Reliable travel capability (vehicle, willingness to go onsite)
  • Experience in real estate, architecture, lifestyle content a plus
