POSITION OVERVIEW

The Content Creation Manager is responsible for the development, steering, and operational execution of brand‑driven and performance‑oriented content across social media, community formats, and DTC channels, with a focus on Consumer Beauty brands in the DACH region. The role combines consistent brand storytelling with clearly conversion‑driven formats such as live shopping via TikTok Shop.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic development, build‑up, and management of brand‑relevant content across social media, community touchpoints, and DTC channels, aligned with defined Brand, Media, and PR & Influencer Marketing objectives
  • Ownership of the brand‑led TikTok Shop content strategy, including live shopping formats and native content with a focus on sales performance, storytelling, and brand impact
  • Development and continuous optimization of the DTC content strategy for the owned webshop, including SEO and GEO optimization to increase visibility and relevance
  • Development, management, and continuous enhancement of the TikTok Shop affiliate marketing strategy to drive sustainable revenue and GMV growth
  • Independent creation and post‑production of social media content (photo, video, short‑form), as well as active support of events for targeted content production and activation
  • Management of external agencies and coordination of internal stakeholders to ensure efficient, brand‑compliant, and performance‑driven content execution
  • Close, cross‑functional collaboration with Marketing, Media, and PR & Influencer Marketing teams to deliver integrated campaigns and derive measurable learnings
  • Identification, further development, and scaling of successful content formats based on performance analyses
  • Monitoring and control of agency and project budgets in alignment with the Senior Social Media & Content Manager
  • Preparation of results, insights, and action recommendations for business reviews, management updates, and selected stakeholder communications

REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • Very strong understanding of social media and content strategies, particularly within the TikTok and DTC environment
  • Strong instinct for platform trends, relevant formats, and audience dynamics
  • Strong visual and creative sense for imagery, storytelling, and video content
  • Hands‑on experience in the creation, post‑production, and publication of photo and video content for social media using common video, image‑editing, and publishing tools
  • Understanding of SEO‑ and GEO‑relevant requirements and the use of corresponding analysis and optimization tools
  • Experience with CMS and shop systems (e.g. Shopify), business ad managers, as well as DAM/PIM systems and influencer/creator tools (e.g. Traackr) is considered an advantage
  • Basic understanding of UX/UI principles for digital content and product detail pages
  • Ability to think about and further develop content from both a creative and performance‑driven perspective
  • Strong affinity for numbers and analytical thinking to evaluate content, channel, and shop performance
  • Structured, self‑driven working style with high personal initiative and a hands‑on mentality
  • Very strong communication and collaboration skills when working with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • High openness to AI tools, new technologies, and innovative ways of working
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
