Job Description
Essential Job Functions:
  • Provides technical support to the Surveillance Department
  • Maintains, repairs and installs all surveillance equipment used by the department.
  • Must be able to operate the following equipment: Monitors, switches, computers, controllers, and cameras.
  • Able to meet installation and repair deadlines.
  • Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
  • Works a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays.
  • Works a reasonable amount of overtime when required.
  • Provides technical support to the Surveillance Department and A/V Department
  • Maintains, repairs and installs all surveillance equipment used by the department.
  • Must be able to operate the following equipment: Monitors, switches, computers, controllers, and cameras.
  • Able to meet installation and repair deadlines.
  • Assists in the safety, proper maintenance, repair and technical work of any stage sets, meeting spaces and conventions.
  • Assists in necessary, the collected effort of any technical work needed for stage/meeting space set-up and breakdown.
  • Ensure proper lighting for stage and conventions.
  • Lighting reinforcement of all stage presentations or convention or special projects.
  • Operates motorized vehicles, i.e. hydraulic and electrically powered hi-reach (man lift) and hand tools.
  • Maintains Inventory of Equipment
  • Sets up and maintains the audio/visual systems in entertainment areas.
  • Operates the sound and light systems for assigned shows and events.
  • Maintains the sound and light systems in all entertainment venues.
  • Assists in setup and strike of band equipment for different acts in entertainment venues
  • Diagnose and correct media system problems
  • Acts a role model and always presents oneself as a credit to Harrah's and encourages others to do the same.
  • Promotes Harrah's and acts in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
  • Works a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays.
  • Works a reasonable amount of overtime when required
  • All team members will follow the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy. It is the expectation that every team member, front or back of house, should proactively seek out opportunities to greet guests and their fellow team members daily. EGE policy states teams members should: acknowledge guests and fellow team members within 10 feet; initiate friendly verbal greeting within 5 feet; keep your head up, look around ("head on a swivel"); look for opportunities to greet guests and others; please remember that when you are on the floor, you are "on stage".
  • Team members will participate in all mandatory meetings and pre-shift BUZZ sessions.
  • Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
  • Must present a well-groomed, professional appearance.
  • Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and complies with all state, federal and regulatory policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to work a varied schedule including holidays, nights and weekends as needed.
  • Must be able to work a reasonable amount of overtime when required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
Physical, Mental & Environmental Demands:
  • Must be able to sit or stand for long hours observing numerable CCTV screens.
  • Must be able to climb into ceiling areas, and work and maneuver in close quarters and enclosed spaces.
  • Must be able to respond calmly in crisis and stressful situations.
  • Must be able to see and remember the specific details of incidents and persons.
  • Must be able to lift to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to give court testimony when necessary and write detailed reports.
  • Must be able to change shifts at short notice.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
  • Must be able to work in a low light environment

Qualifications
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of two years of experience with the installation and maintenance of Closed-Circuit Television systems or similar electronic equipment installation, including but not limited to pan and tilt motorized mechanisms, video cameras, video cassette recorders, and matrix switching units.
  • Must possess physical ability to climb, crawl, and maneuver oneself in tightly cramped areas without a fear of heights or enclosed spaces.
  • Must be able to handle weights in excess of 60 pounds.
  • Must have a solid electronics aptitude.
  • Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to get along with co-
    workers and work as a team.
  • Work in a low llow-lightight environment
  • High School Diploma or GED required
