Job description

Responsible for the design, installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of Surveillance IP CCTV systems and related computer/network infrastructure for Black Hawk Horseshoe and Lady Luck. This role requires advanced technical skills in computer systems, networking, and software integration to ensure compliance, security, and operational efficiency. Starting Pay: $28.00

  • Minimum of two years' experience in computer systems, networking, or electronic surveillance technology.

  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and network protocols.

  • Familiarity with video management software and IP-based surveillance systems.

  • Ability to apply systems analysis techniques and troubleshoot complex technical issues.

  • Experience with basic programming or scripting preferred.

  • Must be at least 21 years of age. 

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Colorado Support Gaming License 

  • Perform systems analysis to evaluate surveillance technology needs and recommend solutions for hardware, software, and network integration.

  • Design and implement computer-based surveillance systems, including configuration of servers, storage devices, and network components.

  • Develop and maintain software configurations for video management systems, encoders, and matrix switching units.

  • Apply basic programming and scripting for network and system automation tasks.

  • Install, configure, and maintain: 

  • Pan, tilt, and zoom motorized mechanisms.

  • IP Video cameras, including PTZ, fixed, multi-sensor, 360 degree "fisheye".

  • Matrix switching units.

  • Computers, servers, and network infrastructure supporting surveillance systems.

  • Perform network programming and troubleshooting, including IP addressing, VLAN configuration, and connectivity testing.

  • Conduct system testing and performance analysis to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Maintain detailed technical documentation, including system diagrams, configuration logs, and maintenance records.

  • Research emerging technologies and recommend upgrades or new solutions to enhance surveillance capabilities.

  • Manage procurement of hardware/software, including seeking bids and ordering parts.

  • Ensure adherence to Colorado Division of Gaming regulations, Caesars Internal Controls, Surveillance Department Operational Manual, and company policies.

  • Provide technical support and respond to system malfunctions promptly.

  • Perform additional technical projects as assigned.
