Job description

Job Title: Video Producer Location-Type: Remote Start Date Is: ASAP Duration: (contract, perm, etc) 5 Month Contract - 20 hours/ week ( 4 hours/ day, Mon-Fri) Compensation Range: $55-60/hr W2 Benefits: Eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, 401K Must be authorized to work in the U.S. This position is not eligible for sponsorship . Our client's Creative Production Team is looking to add a talented mid level producer to its team. In this role you will have the opportunity to manage multimedia productions across multiple areas of Marketing. This producer will partner with creative team members and marketers to organize, plan, manage, and execute productions varying in budgets and timelines. This role sits on the Production Team and will report to the Head of Creative Production & Resource Management. Responsible for production of video, animation to advance the client brand, the team's work is viewed by millions globally. Located within Marketing, the Production team partners closely with video editors, cinematographers, animators, designers, product marketers, brand marketers, among others within the client to develop content that ladders up into multiple key strategies and plays. This role needs strong organization skills, resourcefulness, and the ability to manage multiple projects in varying stages of production. This candidate will have an advanced understanding of the production processes of digital video, animation. Ideally this will include an expert knowledge of production workflows, knowledge of project management software (such as Asana), and the ability to build, manage, or adapt workflows as needed. Attention to detail, excellent communication, and follow-through will be crucial to the role. In this role you'll get to:
  • Produce and manage multiple productions simultaneously
  • Create estimates, schedules, and deliverables lists for each project, and ensure projects are completed on time and on budget
  • Organize and communicate all project details with team members (in partnership with project managers)
  • Have hands-on experience integrating AI tools into production workflows for both video and static/photography projects including knowing where AI accelerates production, where it doesn't, and how to brief teams and vendors accordingly.
  • Actively collaborate with other creative team members on creative concepts and be the team's expert on methods/plans of execution
  • Scout book locations, manage production insurance, talent and crew for on site and off site shoots
  • Handle talent, crew and vendor contracts and payments, including negotiating AI usage clauses (talent likeness, generative tool usage, output ownership) and surfacing legal implications early, and partner with legal and finance departments throughout production
  • Maintain accurate records and documents related to all productions in progress
  • Remote produce shoots or be the on site lead and responsible party during live action shoots
  • Collaborate and create strong relationships with decision makers and internal partners, as well as with external partners and vendors
  • Provide guidance through challenges and strategize solutions when crews encounter roadblocks
  • Work alongside the Head of Production and the Production Group to be in sync throughout all productions
We're looking for people who:
  • Have experience producing video for digital mediums from planning through delivery, along with a strong portfolio demonstrating that work
  • Advanced knowledge of live action sets, remote production, post production workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of photography production.
  • Have excellent communication/people skills.
  • Have excellent organizational skills.
  • Have advanced problem-solving skills and ingenuity.
  • Have the ability to work within current client processes, and help optimize and propose improved ways of working
  • Are able to work well with the team and working groups.
  • Bonus: experience working on an in-house creative team, or directly for a brand.
