Job description

Responsibilities
  • Cross‑functional strategy & thought leadership: Act as a subject matter expert for Video and Audio Media strategies (e.g. CTV, OLV, YouTube, streaming audio; TV/Radio a plus) by continually evolving Ovative’s approach to best practices, vetting and partnering with new technology companies, managing planning and execution tools, and staying on top of emerging trends
  • Develop and drive forward holistic cross‑platform video and media strategies and roadmaps aligned with client program growth goals
  • Understand and find synergies with other paid media channels within the client mix in partnership across activate teams
  • Media management & execution: Lead day‑to‑day management, execution, and optimization of client video and audio programs including:
    • Campaign planning, strategy and plan documentation
    • Campaign tactics, audience build‑out and optimization
    • DSP Algorithmic and manual bidding strategy and optimization
    • Test ideation, planning, and management
    • Analysis, reporting and insights
    • Creative management and trafficking execution
    • Inventory management
    • Strategic partner management
    • Ad Verification Tool strategy and analytics
  • Client relationship management: Demonstrate an understanding of client business/industry and how their work connects to the broader project and client goals. Lead day‑to‑day management of client Video and Audio programs including:
    • Clearly defining program objectives, tactics and KPIs
    • Developing and delivering client communication
    • Building video/audio‑specific strategies for clients and leading tactical planning and execution
    • Effectively managing & growing client relationship and establishing trust and credibility
    • Striving to be the best interaction of the client’s day
  • Team leadership and employee development: Manage work independently with initial direction from leadership.
    • Regularly speak up, ask questions, and express your POV
    • Help train new Ovative team members

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience directly responsible for enterprise‑level Video/Audio Advertising or related programs with digital video and audio expertise across YouTube, online video, CTV, Streaming Audio and Podcasts
  • Proven mastery of the following:
    • Performance based, direct response marketing programs
    • Programmatic Trading via self‑service DSPs (The Trade Desk, DV360, or others)
    • Execution with ad serving tools and technology (The Trade Desk, Google Ads, DCM etc.)
    • Ad Verification Tool usage (DoubleVerify, MOAT, IAS, etc.)
    • External partner management
  • Solid analytical background demonstrating the ability to understand business problems, analyze trends, draw conclusions and make actionable recommendations; Proven track record of success driving strong results
  • Great communication and client management skills
  • Sound conceptual and analytical problem‑solving skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and drive efforts from start to finish
  • Preferred
    • Strong digital video/audio experience
    • Previous experience in performance marketing, retail, eCommerce, etc.

Pay Transparency

At Ovative, we offer a transparent view into three core components of your total compensation package: Base Salary, Annual Bonus, and Benefits. The salary range for this position below is inclusive of an annual bonus. Actual offers are made with consideration for relevant experience and anticipated impact. For our Sr. Analyst positions, our compensation ranges from $62,000 to $93,000, which is inclusive of a 15% bonus.
