About the Company

Our client is a rapidly growing transportation infrastructure contractor specializing in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), traffic signals, fiber optics, roadway lighting, and smart mobility technologies.

About the Role

Reporting to the Regional President, the Vice President of Construction Operations will lead construction operations throughout the region, driving safety, execution, profitability, and operational excellence while developing high-performing project teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Project Managers, Superintendents, and field operations.
  • Drive project execution from estimating handoff through closeout.
  • Improve operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Monitor WIP, job costing, forecasting, and cash flow.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and on budget.
  • Develop and mentor construction leadership teams.
  • Improve accountability and process consistency.
  • Partner with Finance, Estimating, and Executive Leadership.
  • Drive scheduling, resource planning, and equipment utilization.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of construction leadership experience
  • Experience leading Project Managers and Superintendents
  • Strong financial and business acumen
  • WIP Accounting and Job Costing experience
  • Self-perform construction experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
