The Measurement and Data Science team delivers campaign measurement and reporting across Amazon Advertising business and serves as the scientific center of excellence for algorithm development in campaign measurement. Our measurement and engineering platforms and products deliver campaign performance reporting to advertisers. By showing ads on and off our site, we effectively measure the Internet with billions of incoming, highly decorated events to process and summarize every day in near real time. Our infrastructure is extreme scale, requiring invention ahead of common technologies and exceeding PB scale with millions of transactions per second. We are highly motivated, collaborative, and fun-loving with an entrepreneurial spirit and bias for action.
As a Technical Program Manager on the MADS team, you will you lead planning and delivering of programs with multi-year roadmap, using Agile and incremental delivery methods. You will work on complex software systems in a customer centric environment, cross-group teams spread across multiple geographies and handle communication from technical developers to VP's. You will bring strong understanding of system design of distributed systems, have knowledge of cloud and service-oriented architecture, thrive in a fast-paced environment, be comfortable with ambiguity, and lead cross-group teams across Amazon, on an unbeaten path. You will foster a data-driven culture that facilitates collaboration and accelerates innovation that drives a multibillion dollar business, and interact with a diverse set of stakeholders across our advertising business, including engineers, scientists, product managers, and senior leaders. You will deliver crisp messages, drive timely feature launches, and work to deliver to meet timelines with optimal solutions to complex problems.

Key job responsibilities
Collaborate with team members to determine and prioritize features and software releases.
Implement mechanisms/tools to provide an accurate view of current feature usage, roadmap and help determine future deliveries.
Collaborate with partners to regularly deep dive on products and drive additional features where necessary.
Drive the implementation and management of Hackathon features so they can be merged into mainline.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design
- Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
