Our programs offer customized rehabilitation tailored to the specific needs of those recovering from a stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation or orthopedic injury.

How you'll contribute:

Serves as Administrative Assistant to VP/Chief Nursing Officer and VP/Chief Financial Officer. Provides support for the Nursing Supervisors and Clinical Coordinators. Assumes primary responsibility for all clerical functions of Nursing Administration.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Assumes primary responsibility for all typing services including minutes and procedures for nursing administration, check requests, position postings and leave requests.
  • Assumes primary responsibility for all record keeping in nursing administration, including processing payroll and managing timekeeping software.
  • Acts as a resource for nursing services personnel, including assisting with check requests submissions and verification of expense reports for signature.
  • Sorts and distributes all mail for hospital. Runs mail through postage machine and maintains all supplies and maintenance request for postage machine.
  • Acts as liaison between nursing administration, other departments, employees, medical staff and outside agencies, including managing calendars, facilitating meetings and appointments, making travel arrangements, managing email announcements, and assisting with software.
  • Responsible for arranging, facilitating and taking and maintaining minutes for various department meetings, including sending notices to Physicians, compiling Agenda items for distribution, and preparing power point presentations.
  • Provides support to the President/Chief Executive Officer and VP/Chief Operating Officer in the absence of their Administrative Assistant or as needed.
  • Assists the Chief Nursing Officer and Chief Financial Officer in routine daily duties as needed, including screening calls, managing and creating correspondence, maintaining calendars, and making travel arrangements as required.
  • Performs routine secretarial duties, including ordering supplies and updating department software.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Education: High School Graduate or equivalent Required
  • Minimum Work Experience Three years previous clerical experience
