Job description

About Ritual
Ritual is a personal health brand that is raising the bar for daily wellness. Known for our best-selling, clinically backed prenatal, we create science-backed supplements with transparency at their core. We believe women deserve products they can trust, backed by real evidence-not just promises.
We started by reinventing the multivitamin with the first visible supply chain of its kind. Today, we're expanding into new categories with the same high standards that built our reputation. Hundreds of thousands trust Ritual, and we're growing fast.
Our team of 120+ scientists, creatives, and skeptics is raising the bar for women's health. We're venture-backed, based in sunny Los Angeles, and always looking for people ready to challenge the industry-and do the best work of their careers.
About the role
We're looking for a VP, Integrated Marketing to help define Ritual's next stage of growth. This is a rare opportunity to join Ritual as we scale omnichannel growth, expand into new product categories, and shape how women discover, understand, and choose products for their health across life stages.
This leader will translate Ritual's standards of trust, traceability, and scientific rigor into commercial marketing that breaks through. You'll connect consumer insights, product storytelling, medical credibility, retail marketing, partnerships, and channel planning into one integrated engine - working closely with Growth, Brand, Creative, and Omnichannel Sales to translate strategy into measurable business impact.
What you'll do
  • Lead Ritual's integrated marketing and portfolio commercialization strategy. Build and own a 24-month integrated marketing roadmap that connects category priorities, product messaging, retail moments, partnerships, and revenue goals across DTC, Amazon, Retail, and Club. Own portfolio lifecycle strategy across new launches, retailer expansions, channel exclusives, product updates, and growth initiatives - ensuring commercial readiness from innovation pipeline through in-market execution.
  • Build a breakthrough partnership strategy to drive commercial growth. Identify, structure, and manage partnerships that drive awareness, cultural relevance, and customer acquisition. Partner with Brand on culturally-driven partnerships to ensure they convert to commercial outcomes.
  • Scale Ritual's retail and Club marketing capabilities. Bring deep retail marketing experience to elevate digital shelf excellence, PDP quality, ratings and reviews, retailer search, retail media, shopper marketing, and retailer-specific go-to-market strategies. Partner with Sales on sell-in support and build omnichannel customer experiences that perform across every retail environment.
  • Build a real-time consumer, competitive, and category insight engine. Lead Consumer Insights in translating market signals, cultural trends, customer behavior, and competitive activity into actionable recommendations that inform launches, media, partnerships, and executive decisions - in real time, not in quarterly decks.
  • Operate as an AI-native marketing leader. Use AI as a default across insight development, competitive analysis, messaging iteration, creative briefing, and category intelligence. Identify high-friction workflows across your teams and reimagine them with systems that create speed and capacity.
  • Lead and develop high-performing teams. Manage and grow leaders across Product Marketing, Retail Marketing, Consumer Insights, and Medical Marketing. Build a team culture grounded in speed, accountability, and strong cross-functional partnership.

Who you are
  • Innovative Thinker: You challenge the status quo with bold ideas grounded in purpose and customer needs. You bring clarity to new possibilities and know how to turn them into practical business action.
  • Empowered Collaborator: You move beyond identifying issues to co-create practical, scalable solutions with stakeholders. You take ownership of your commitments and support shared outcomes.
  • Structured Thinker: You bring clarity to complex business challenges - breaking them into clear choices, actionable plans, and measurable outcomes. You balance long-term category building with near-term growth.
  • Long-Term Integrator: You balance short-term execution with long-term operational, financial, and brand sustainability. You see partnership, retail, product, and channel opportunities others might miss and know how to structure them into business value.
  • Purpose Aligner: You connect day-to-day marketing work to a larger mission. You care about women's health and believe that credible, science-backed products deserve marketing that matches their integrity.
  • Empowering Manager: You balance guidance with autonomy, enabling ownership and confidence across your teams.

What you'll need
  • 12+ years of progressive marketing experience, including VP-level or equivalent senior leadership scope within a high-growth consumer brand.
  • Deep experience in CPG, health and wellness, beauty, food and beverage, or another consumer category where product storytelling, retail execution, and brand differentiation matter.
  • Experience working in an AI-native environment - someone who reaches for AI as a reflex, can self-teach new tools quickly, and has a track record of building or implementing technology-powered workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate consumer insights, competitive intelligence, and category trends into business decisions, marketing investment recommendations, and high-impact go-to-market plans.
  • Retail and partnership marketing experience, including shopper strategy, digital shelf, retail media, channel messaging, and identifying and scaling commercially meaningful partnerships that drive awareness, acquisition, and growth.
  • Strong people leadership experience with a track record of building, coaching, and developing high-performing teams, and the executive communication skills to synthesize complex inputs into clear recommendations for senior leaders.
We encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every qualification listed above. We're committed to building a diverse team and recognize that skills can be developed in many different ways.
