Job description

  • Base pay / salary (New York) - up to 170K USD

What you will be doing:

  • Support CLS's engagement with the FRBNY Supervisory teams for all ongoing supervisory activities, the FRB for Regulation HH activities, and the Oversight Committee and the OC Secretariat at the FRBNY.
  • Manage and participate in: (1) end-to-end Supervisory examinations and on - site reviews; (2) Remediation of supervisory findings, including response and closure; (3) Regulation HH and Y filings; (4) Continuous Monitoring meetings; (5) OC and FRB workshops;
  • Collaborate with three lines of defense to ensure their involvement in the review process
  • Manage the reporting of KPIs and creation of consolidated decks to the Board and senior management and collaborate with stakeholders to amend and develop new reporting as needed
  • Lead / contribute to the risk and controls testing for Regulatory Relations.

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in regulatory or legal departments within the financial services industry; J.D. optional.
  • Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders including liaising with regulators and across senior leadership.
  • Acute attention to detail and ability to manage high volume of information and high execution mode of an environment.
  • Able to work at a DFMU subject to regulatory scrutiny and a fast paced environment
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and be professional, upholding high ethical standards
  • Subject matter expert in regulatory matters and can develop relationships to be able to provide sound advice to the business divisions
  • Results oriented and ensures timely delivery and execution
  • Organized self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively in a team
  • Familiar with 3LOD framework, including risk and control testing

Professional qualifications / certifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
