Job Summary

The Vice-President of Client Accounting Services will play a critical role in the launch of our Client Accounting and Advisory Services practice, responsible for scaling our Advisory practice. This role demands a strategic leader with a hands-on approach to building systems, processes, workflows, managing client relationships, and driving growth.To be successful as a candidate you should be driven to achieve established company goals for the client accounting and advisory services practice and have excellent communication and client service skills.


The VP, Client Accounting Services, is responsible for providing leadership and oversight of a team of accounting professionals and ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of the advisory services to clients. This role is accountable for maintaining and expanding client relationships and operational excellence within the client accounting and advisory services function. The VP will collaborate closely with the CEO and other senior leaders to shape the company’s vision and strategy, ensuring our clients receive exceptional service and support.


Key Responsibilities


Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the client advisory team to achieve departmental and
  • organizational goals.
  • Foster a client-centric culture within the team, emphasizing proactive services and strategic advisory.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure their professional growth and development.
  • Provide direct supervision to departmental Directors


Client Relationship Management:

  • Develop processes to maintain strong client relationships through effective
  • communication and understanding of the client’s needs.
  • Develop operational strategies to meet client needs and exceed their expectations.
  •  Act as management’s point of contact for key clients, addressing inquiries, resolving
  • issues, and providing recommendations to ensure their needs are met.


Process Improvement:

  • Continuously evaluate and improve company processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Implement best practices and technologies to streamline operations.
  • Design scalable processes and systems for client onboarding, engagement, service
  • delivery, and retention.
  • Analyze client data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement with the practice.


Client Expansion and Business Development:

  • Identify opportunities for expanding services to existing clients and acquiring new clients.
  • Participate in business development activities such as proposal preparation and
  • presentations.


Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Present financial and operational reports to senior management.
  • Monitor budget variances and recommend corrective actions.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data.

Qualifications:
