Role Overview
As a Vice President of Sales, West at Janus you will build and execute the overall sales approach to Health System and large Ambulatory targets within your territory to achieve growth equal to or greater than your assigned quota each year and therefore, drive revenue for our business. By building consultative relationships with our prospects, you will help further our mission of empowering health systems and its operational workforce to achieve more and reduce the cost of care nationwide.
As a VP of Sales, West you will be responsible for overall development of sales strategy for your territory, identification and education of prospects, convey Janus' value proposition, and work with other members of the Janus Growth team, as well as members of other functions throughout the organization to close contracts that meet the profitability goals of the Janus organization. Detailed responsibilities include:
  • Generate revenue for Janus by owning the entire prospect sales funnel - identification, design, and closure of deals.
  • Prospect for potential new Health System and large Ambulatory customers
  • Leverage Janus' consultative selling approach.
  • Research and understand each prospect environment and strategic initiatives to best align Janus' solutions.
  • Understand your territory and partner with Marketing to develop campaigns to generate new leads.
  • Attend industry events and network with potential customers, including schedule and attend onsite prospect meetings.
  • Partner with sales operations to quickly respond to customer needs.
  • Develop proposals, contracts, and other sales-related materials, as necessary.
  • Partner with Marketing and Product to relay market feedback relative to our capabilities and messaging.
  • Partner with the CGO and CFO to develop and deliver pricing that reflects Janus approved pricing models.
  • Meet and exceed sales quotas.
  • Document all selling activities in Salesforce.

Requirements
  • We are seeking consultative selling experience with at least 20+ years of sales experience.
  • Required experience in RCM technology, enterprise healthcare technology solutions, SaaS, or Healthcare Consulting.
  • Experience selling complex software to Health Systems and Ambulatory groups.
  • Required to have a robust network of relationships in the West that can be immediately accessed for targeted leads.
  • Proven track record of managing sales pipeline, funnel stages and driving top-line revenue.
  • Proven track record of meeting assigned quotas on a consistent yearly basis.
  • Experience selling to C-Suite executive and revenue cycle VP/CRO/Director levels.
  • Entrepreneurial, Data-driven, Problem Solver. Excellent prioritization, logical deduction, and organizational skills.
  • Work collaboratively with Growth, Marketing, Product and Customer teams.
  • Ability to innovate in a fast-growing work environment and comfortable dealing with ambiguity.
  • Highly motivated self-starter who is an excellent team player.
  • Outstanding organizational and communication (both verbal and written) skills; demonstrated experience in communicating value to customers.
