Job description


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sr. Slot Performance Manager to join our team! The ideal candidate will ensure the proper functioning, maintenance and compliance of all slot equipment while managing a dedicated technical team. This leadership role requires a blend of technical expertise, management skills, and regulatory knowledge to drive operational excellence.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure proper appearance and operation of slot equipment, maintaining compliance with all state laws, regulations and company policies
  • Oversee documentation related to slot projects, maintenance logs, repair logs, purchase orders, and requisitions of slot machine parts and supplies
  • Produce and analyze reports, reviewing slot activities and performance with the Director of Slot Operations and Vice President of Casino Operations.
  • Collaborate with management and various departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Review and address reports regarding malfunctions or other issues, implementing appropriate maintenance and repair solutions
  • Hire, train, coach and evaluate Slot Technical staff
  • Troubleshoot slot equipment issues and resolve performance-related problems
  • Complete company-required training within designated timeframes
  • Foster and maintain professional relationship with internal personnel and external regulators
  • Read, understand, and interpret complex instructions and regulatory documents
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of gaming laws and regulations
  • Stay informed about special events and promotional activities
  • Uphold strict confidentiality regarding financial data and company policies
  • Communicate effectively with guests, gaming officials and vendors
  • Adhere to departmental service standards, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and trustworthiness
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in slot machine maintenance and management
  • Recommended five years of experience in casino slot department, and at least three years in a supervisory role in a Slot Tech department
  • Minimum three years' experience working with the LnW Slot Data System along with slot admin experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to slot equipment and software
  • Ability to lead, coach, and develop a technical team
  • Knowledge of gaming regulations and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage budgets and analyze technical performance data
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming License

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Work may be performed in areas that are unusually hot, cold, noisy, smoky, dimly lit or brightly illuminated
  • May work with solvents/oils, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic devices, and computer equipment
  • May be exposed to fumes/odors, dirt and dust
  • Constant contact with staff and guests
  • Requires mobility to include occasional sitting, crawling, climbing, balancing; frequent, walking, reaching overhead from floor to 6ft., pushing/pulling, lifting/carrying over 100 lbs., standing, bending over, crouching, kneeling, repetitive use of both hands with light and firm grasping and finger dexterity

  • Use of radio, calculator, computer, and telephone
  • Normal vision range and absence of color blindness
  • Tolerance of or use of cleaning/lubricating chemicals
