Schedule:  Osaic has returned to the office on a hybrid schedule requiring a minimum of 4 days weekly in the office. Non-remote employees must be willing to work this schedule. Given the regional and travel requirements for this position, Osaic is open to remote applicants for this position.

Salary: $140,000 - $175,000 per year + sales incentive compensation, paid quarterly.

Summary:

The Vice President, Advisory Consulting is responsible for leading the field-based regional sales and consulting efforts. This role focuses on driving advisor engagement, promoting adoption of the Wealth Management Platform (WMP), driving asset shift on platform, and growing advisory assets across the firm. The VP oversees regional consultants, collaborates with internal partners, and ensures alignment between the field and home office sales strategy. This role reports to the SVP, Advisory Consulting.

Responsibilities:

  • Field Leadership & Team Development

    • Lead and mentor a team of regional sales consultants responsible for driving WMP adoption and revenue growth.

    • Equip the field with messaging, positioning, and resources needed for effective advisor engagements.

    • Support professional development through coaching, training, and skill-building; conduct tandem travel with Regional Vice Presidents.

  • Field Strategy & Execution

    • Oversee territory planning, prioritization, and advisor segmentation strategies to maximize sales impact.

    • Ensure consistent execution of sales campaigns and initiatives throughout all field regions.

    • Partner with Regional Vice Presidents, OSJ/Enterprise Leaders, and other key leaders to achieve growth objectives.

  • Advisor Engagement & Business Growth

    • Deepen relationships with high value advisors, providing consultative guidance on advisory adoption and practice transformation.

    • Lead field efforts in driving the brokerage-to-advisory transition and expanding use of the Wealth Management Platform.

    • Support recruiting, onboarding, and retention efforts through field meetings, Home Office Visits (HOVs), and advisor events.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Coordinate closely with internal sales leadership to ensure seamless alignment between internal and external sales motions.

    • Partner with Marketing, Product, Platform, and Research teams to deliver timely updates, content, and educational resources for the field.

    • Act as a senior escalation point for field-raised advisor issues, working with home office teams to resolve quickly.

  • Performance & Accountability

    • Monitor activity, pipeline, and revenue metrics for all regional consultants; identify trends and performance gaps.

    • Use analytics to refine territory strategies and improve advisor penetration within regions.

    • Provide leadership reporting and insights related to field performance, advisor behaviors, and platform trends.

  • Other Responsibilities

    • Promote IA Strategic Partner events, regional meetings, and firmwide advisor programs.

    • Represent the voice of the field in product development, platform enhancements, and strategic planning.

    • Perform other duties as assigned and track appropriate activity in firm CRM.

Education Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree preferred; Bachelor’s Degree from accredited university required; focus in Economics, Finance, Business, or related field subjects preferred

Basic Requirements:

  • Series 7 required

  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time

  • 5+ years in a similar role with 10+ years of experience in related field

  • Driven and goal-oriented nature; enthusiastic, sales-focused personality

  • Extensive knowledge of advisory platforms, key wealth management concepts, investment strategies

  • Ability to introduce a complex subject matter in clear articulate fashion

  • Ability to work independently with high level of organization and time management skills

  • Deep experience working directly with financial advisors

  • Familiarity with using a client relationship management program

Preferred Requirements:

  • Advanced certification; CFP® or CIMA® designation preferred
