Job description

Overview

Kimedics, LLC is one of LocumTenens.com families of companies. Kimedics is building workforce solutions for healthcare staffing to help operations teams and clinicians spend less time on administrative tasks and more time on patient care. With the growing clinician shortage, medical groups have to rely on collaboration with their clinician networks and staffing partner organizations to fill their schedule efficiently - and without the right tool this can get incredibly complicated and expensive fast. We help them organize and optimize their practice staffing and scheduling operations! We have built a full-stack end-to-end solution consisting of roster management, credentialing and document task templates, scheduling apps, pay calculation automation and analytics dashboards that empower healthcare organizations to optimize their schedule and rosters for the best fit and cost optimized schedule.

We are a Jackson Healthcare company and we are now the third largest healthcare staffing company in the U.S., serving more than 7 million patients in over 1,400 healthcare facilities.

This leader will lead and further develop the product management organization, including overseeing product management processes, ensuring product design accountability, and developing the team's AI-assisted delivery capabilities while partnering closely with Engineering, Customer Success, Sales, and executive leadership.

  • Champion and defend Kimedics' vendor-neutral, agency-agnostic positioning in all product strategy and customer-facing conversations; ensure that platform decisions reinforce rather than compromise this core market differentiator
  • Monitor the competitive landscape, including VMS incumbents, scheduling platforms, credentialing vendors, and emerging workforce operations technology and translate competitive intelligence into product strategy adjustments
  • Drive product transformation initiatives that create competitive differentiation and accelerate market growth

Team Leadership & Organizational Development - 30%

  • Lead, build, and modernize the product management organization through a period of structural transition, including role redesign, onboarding, domain ownership, and operating models to build a high-performing team that scales innovation without sacrificing execution discipline
  • Install and maintain product management discipline: formal sprint commitment gates, scope sign-off before estimation, quarterly planning cadences with enterprise clients, and published roadmap communication standards
  • Partner closely with Engineering leadership to ensure roadmap feasibility, sprint planning rigor, and on-time delivery including managing the transition from informal agile collaboration to structured, accountable delivery cycles
  • Mentor and develop product managers and associates to grow their capabilities in user story definition, product discovery, data-driven prioritization, and customer engagement
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure go-to-market readiness for new features and releases
