The Vice President, Business Development will provide strategic direction to the business and lead all sales-related activities within the assigned business region.**Essential Functions*** Collaborates with executive leadership to develop sales strategies to meet company goals.* Provides expertise and guidance to regional and executive leadership on regional business development opportunities and strategic prospects.* Implements strategic sales and marketing plans within the assigned area of responsibility.* Communicates and acts upon the strategic direction of the organization within the designated region.* Collaborates with other regions and groups to carry out the organization’s goals and objectives.* Actively identifies ways to differentiate Apache from its competitors within the market.* Ensures all sales activities are properly documented and tracked in Apache’s CRM for the assigned region. Confirms business development team members in the region are adequately trained on how to use the CRM and holds each team member accountable for properly using the system.* Leads by example. Always represents Apache favorably. Conducts business in a professional and ethical manner at all times.
