About the Role
Five Star Breaktime Solutions is seeking an experienced and strategic Regional Vice President of Dining Services to lead multiple dining operations across an assigned region. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Dining, this executive leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence, financial performance, client satisfaction, and team development across a diverse portfolio of dining accounts.
The ideal candidate is a proven multi-unit dining leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at developing people, and has a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality experiences while achieving strong financial results.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
  • Develop and execute strategic operational plans that support company growth and profitability objectives.
  • Lead and support Regional Directors, District Managers, Dining Managers, and site leadership teams throughout the region.
  • Establish and maintain an account inspection process that ensures consistent service quality, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
  • Conduct regular site visits to evaluate performance, provide coaching, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure all dining operations consistently meet or exceed company standards and client expectations.
Financial Management
  • Drive profitability through effective management of labor, food costs, purchasing, and operational expenses.
  • Monitor financial performance across all assigned accounts and implement corrective action plans when necessary.
  • Review and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and key performance indicators.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to the Vice President of Dining and Five Star leadership.
  • Participate in monthly business reviews and strategic planning sessions.
Client Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with client partners and key stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for major operational concerns and client issues.
  • Lead retention efforts through proactive communication, service excellence, and operational consistency.
  • Partner with clients to identify opportunities for growth and continuous improvement.
Talent Development & Leadership
  • Recruit, develop, mentor, and retain high-performing dining leaders.
  • Support interviewing, onboarding, and training initiatives for Dining Managers and leadership staff.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with Regional Directors and District Managers to review goals, performance metrics, and development opportunities.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and human resources practices.
Food Safety & Compliance
  • Implement sanitation and food safety initiatives across all assigned operations.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, health department regulations, and food handling requirements.
  • Monitor operational audits and support corrective action plans when necessary.
Business Growth
  • Assist with identifying and securing new business opportunities.
  • Participate in client presentations, proposals, and business development efforts.
  • Lead operational planning and execution for new account openings and transitions.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to support strategic growth initiatives.

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in corporate dining, foodservice, hospitality, or contract management.
  • Multi-unit management experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Foodservice Management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Demonstrated success leading large teams and achieving operational and financial objectives.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and profit management.
  • Proven ability to develop leaders and build high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong strategic planning and execution capabilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and business management systems.
