Job description

Title: VP of Accounting
Salary: $160,000–$180,000

Key Responsibilities for the VP of Accounting:
• Lead, develop, and scale the accounting team as the VP of Accounting
• Oversee financial reporting, including investor and external requirements
• Manage residential real estate and HUD accounting and compliance
• Partner closely with the CFO on cash flow, forecasting, and scaling the finance function

Qualifications for the VP of Accounting:
• 10+ years of accounting experience within real estate (residential / HUD strongly preferred)
• Proven experience leading and developing teams at the VP of Accounting or senior accounting level
• Strong background in investor and external financial reporting
