The Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Global Supply Chain organization is seeking a knowledgeable Supply Chain Professional to join our SC Planning team.

This position is located in Rolling Meadows, IL. The Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist's responsibilities include but are not limited to: Manage on time req release, PO placements, and PO delivery dates to maintain program schedule. Manage material budget for contract requirements.

Supporting baselining/EVMS requirements. Manage/report and forecast material cost/performance of assigned program(s) (Cognos, CMEs, IPRS) Identify and manage program risks and opportunities as they pertain to material requirements. Analyzes lead times and identifies critical path procurements.

Monitor and address supplier capacity and/or production issues. Maintain strong business acumen and ability to operate in a fast-paced production environment that consists of leading-edge technology suppliers. Travel up to 10% of the time as required.

#MPR Basic Qualifications for Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist: Bachelor's degree and minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain, contracts, business and/or related field OR Master's degree and minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain, contracts, business and/or related field. SAP experience or other ERP experience U.S. Citizenship Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications for Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist: Previous experience in Supply Chain, Business or Operations, or Financial Planning. Experience in Earned Value Management Systems Control Account Manager (CAM) certification Experience in Federal and Defense contracting requirements including ITAR, DOS licenses, FAR and DFARS. Primary Level Salary Range: $89,900.00 - $134,900.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.

In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
