The Navigation, Intelligence & Connectivity Division in San Diego, CA is seeking a Supply Chain Procurement Specialist who is willing to work in a collaborative environment and is interested in expanding their horizons. This position will work in our San Diego, CA location.

What You Will Get To Do:

Responsibilities:

  • Develops RFQ utilizing Specifications, statements of work, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and/or services.

  • Prepares bid packages, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates PO provisions, administers resulting PO and ensure on time delivery.

  • Manages performance of Purchase Orders and assigned suppliers, ensures compliance with all public law requirements as well as company (and business) policies and procedures including import/export regulations

  • Develops engaging and collaborative relationships with suppliers and internal partners/customers to drive problem resolution

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree and 2 years of supply chain, procurement and/or material planning experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment

  • MS Office suite experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP procurement systems

  • Experience with challenging suppliers and subcontracts / long term agreements

  • Professional experience in a regulated industry; to include Aerospace & Defense, Insurance, Financial Services, Telecommunications

  • Experience in small and complex machining or electronics commodities

  • Knowledge of government contracting requirements and regulations (e.g. FAR, DFARS, ITAR, etc.)

What We Can Offer You:

Primary Level Salary Range: $69,000.00 - $103,400.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
