Job description

About the Role:

The Vice President of Finance will play a critical leadership role in shaping the financial strategy and operations of the organization across the United States. This position is responsible for overseeing all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and risk management, to ensure the company’s financial health and compliance with regulatory requirements. The VP of Finance will collaborate closely with executive leadership to drive strategic initiatives, optimize capital structure, and support sustainable growth. This role demands a visionary leader who can translate complex financial data into actionable insights that influence business decisions. Ultimately, the VP of Finance will be instrumental in guiding the company’s financial direction and ensuring long-term profitability and stability.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles, preferably within a large or complex organization.
  • Proven expertise in financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing finance teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Finance.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
  • Experience in a publicly traded company or experience with IPO processes.
  • Familiarity with advanced financial software and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
  • Experience in strategic business partnering and driving organizational change.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of financial strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Manage the preparation and analysis of financial statements, reports, and forecasts to provide accurate and timely information to stakeholders.
  • Oversee budgeting processes, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost control measures.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, standards, and internal policies, including audit coordination and risk management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior executives to support business planning, investment decisions, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Direct and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Evaluate and implement financial systems and technologies to enhance reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
