Position Overview:ย 

Theย VPย ofย Project Deliveryย is primarilyย responsible forย developing andย directingย Thriveโ€™sย Projectย Deliveryย organization.ย Theย VPย servesย asย an experienced escalation point as well asย the strategic thoughtย leaderย for the Department.ย ย Theyย will need to driveย theirย teamย to successย through clearย forward thinking, resourceย capacity management,ย andย leading continuous improvement initiatives.ย This includes defining, planning, tracking, and managing department KPIs, OKRs, and strategic initiatives.ย Applicable initiatives will be a mix ofย Project Management Office improvements and cross-functional process implementations.ย ย Theย VPย will have control oversight ofย the divisions of labor, staffing needs, and budgeting.ย ย ย 

The ideal candidateย needs toย possessย strongย managementย developmentย skills andย haveย experience inย managedย services,ย technology solutions,ย and growingย professional servicesย departments.ย ย Exceptionalย communication and organizational skills are necessaryย toย navigate escalations,ย gainย stakeholderย confidence,ย andย develop solutionsย quickly.ย ย The applicant must be able to motivate people, encourage teamwork, and communicate effectively with senior managementย andย front-lineย staff.ย ย The ideal candidateย must be able to manage change and take active leadership inย timelyย decision making.ย ย 


Primaryย Responsibilities:ย 

  • Drive continuous improvement ofย Project Deliveryย through dataย analysis,ย strategic initiativeย business cases, andย cross-functional leadershipย 

  • Monitor and influenceย companyย Big Rocks,ย Objectives, andย Key Results to achieveย Thriveย Goalsย 

  • Serve as an internal and external escalation point toย ensure projects are delivered in a manner that exceeds client expectationsย 

  • Facilitateย standardization ofย projectย deliveryย designย toย communicate effectively, mitigate risk, andย meetย customerย timeframesย 

  • Developย Project Deliveryย Directorsย andย Managersย byย communicating Thrive standards,ย training on new and existing processes, and leading by exampleย ย 


Qualifications:ย 

Minimumย 

  • Advanced experienceย (10+ years)ย in projectย managementย and/orย professional servicesย 

  • Advanced experience (10+ years) in personnel management and developmentย 

  • Experienceย implementingย managed services andย informationย technology solutionsย 

  • Skilled inย data analysis,ย continuous improvement, process definition,ย and organizational designย 

  • Solid understanding ofย common technologies:ย cloudย migrations, networking, cyber security,ย office buildout/moves,ย and disaster recoveryย ย 

  • Technical understanding of Thrive approved technologies included but not limited to:ย 

  • Office 365, Intune, and Entra IDย ย 

  • Microsoft Server OSย 

  • Private Cloudย 

  • Public Cloud (Azure)ย 

  • Networking (Firewalls, Switching, Access Points)ย 

  • Disaster Recoveryย 

  • Backup technologyย 

  • Cyber Security Tools (Web/Mail Filtering, Endpoint Protection)ย 

Preferredย 

  • Project management certificationย (PMP,ย CAPM,ย Princeย etc.)ย 

  • Experience using ServiceNowย (or other project managementย software)ย 

  • Experience in ITILย methodologyย and change managementย processesย 

  • Willingness to improve team process and contribute to team and company initiativesย
