Job description

Vice President of Pharmacy Services

Location: Las Vegas, NV

Full Time – Days – Administrative Hours – No Weekends

Compensation: $175,000 to $235,000+ Depending on Experience. Annual Bonus in the 15% to 20% range


About the Role

This executive leadership position oversees pharmacy services across multiple hospitals within the division. The Vice President of Pharmacy Services is responsible for advancing clinical excellence, ensuring regulatory readiness, and driving cost-containment initiatives. The role also partners with executive leadership to analyze pharmacy utilization patterns, optimize purchasing strategies, and implement business models that improve patient care and financial performance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead pharmacy services across the division, aligning with organizational strategic objectives and pharmacy program goals.
  • Drive improvements in clinical services, compliance, operations, and expense management.
  • Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with facility leaders to advance patient care and pharmacy practice.
  • Analyze pharmacy purchasing and utilization data, making strategic recommendations to improve outcomes and reduce costs.
  • Provide direct leadership and accountability for operational effectiveness of pharmacy services.
  • Develop and implement scalable business processes and systemwide initiatives.
  • Cultivate stakeholder confidence by aligning pharmacy strategies with organizational priorities and delivering measurable results.
  • Champion a customer-focused culture that prioritizes responsiveness, innovation, and service excellence.


Qualifications

  • Required: B.S. in Pharmacy; Licensed Pharmacist (or ability to become licensed in-state within 6 months).
  • Preferred: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), MBA, or MS.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of progressive pharmacy leadership, preferably multi-site in acute care. Retail backgrounds will not be considered.
  • Executive-level leadership experience with proven ability to influence senior leaders and lead diverse teams.
  • Will also consider high-level Directors, Chief Pharmacy Officers, Division/Market Directors, or current VPs.
