Remote work is not available for this position. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 9AM-5PM. Occasional after-hours or off-hours support may be required depending on the needs of the VP.
Brown Distributing Company (BDC) is a family-owned beverage distributor that has been serving the Central Texas market since 1962. BDC distributes a wide range of quality beverage products while upholding the highest standards of service and salesmanship at all times.
We are seeking a highly organized and dependable Executive/Personal Assistant to support our Vice President. This individual will be responsible for managing scheduling, coordinating travel plans, handling communications, and assisting with various office functions. This position is also expected to assist other departments during downtime when our VP may not need as much. This person will need to be detail oriented, able to maintain confidentiality, and have great communication skills.
Requirements
Skills, Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- 2 years' experience as an executive assistant
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to be flexible with workflow and assist where needed
- Valid driver's license is required
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to perform very minor lifting, such as lifting boxes of office supplies
