VP Of Digital Marketing

SS&C Technologies is seeking a VP of Digital Marketing who will lead SS&C's digital marketing strategy, driving demand generation, SEO, AEO, customer acquisition, analytics, and digital innovation. This role will partner closely with business units and corporate marketing teams to accelerate growth. We are seeking a hands-on AI builder and digital leader who can identify opportunities for automation and AI across marketing experiences, rapidly prototype solutions, and scale successful use cases that improve efficiency, performance, and business outcomes.

Reporting to the Co-Heads of Corporate Marketing, this role will own and shape the end-to-end digital growth engine for the team. You will set the strategy and scale the capabilities that drive demand and accelerate pipeline.

This role sits as a peer to the VP, Marketing Technology & Operations. Digital Marketing owns the demand and experience side of the marketing organization; MarTech & Operations owns the platform, data, and intelligence infrastructure. A strong partnership between the two is essential.

What You Will Get To Do:

  • Set an annual digital marketing strategy aligned to revenue, pipeline, and brand objectives
  • Own digital channel mix modeling and budget allocation across paid, owned, and earned channels
  • Translate executive growth targets into channel-level plans, funnel KPIs, and team goals.
  • Define the digital customer journey strategy across customer acquisition, conversion, and retention stages

Campaign & Channel Execution

  • Direct paid media strategy and agency relationships; oversee multi-million dollar annual media budgets
  • Lead SEO strategy and technical/content roadmap and content strategy and development, which includes an LLM visibility plan
  • Oversee lifecycle marketing strategy, segmentation logic, and automated journey design

Performance, Insight & Optimization

  • Partner with Marketing Technology & Operations leader to establish digital performance dashboards, reporting cadence, and accountability with the executive team
  • Consume insights and attribution from Marketing Technology & Operations to optimize spend and inform strategy

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner with Product Marketing, Brand, and Communications on integrated go-to-market
  • Partner with Sales, Sales Development, and Revenue Operations on funnel handoff and SLA
  • Partner with the VP, Marketing Technology & Operations on data needs, platform capabilities, and AI use cases
  • Partner across Business Unit Marketing groups to align on strategies, agencies and best practices across the org.

What You Will Bring:

  • 15+ years in digital marketing leadership, with significant B2B SaaS, technology, financial services, or similar data-driven industry background (fintech a strong plus).
  • Experience with global digital marketing across multiple regions
  • Proven success building and scaling full-funnel digital programs in complex, high-value buying environments.
  • Deep expertise in Marketing automation & lifecycle marketing, conversion optimization, paid media & performance marketing, SEO, and emerging AI-optimized discovery (AIO).
  • Understanding of AI-driven marketing capabilities and how to deploy them in campaign and content workflows
  • Highly analytical, commercially minded, and outcome-oriented.
