Job Details
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced VP of Finance to join our team. This is a permanent position and an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional who is passionate about managing financial health and growth within the Accounting + Finance industry. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a hands‑on approach, ready to take on the challenge of guiding our financial decisions and strategies. The VP of Finance will be responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting activities, including financial statements, bank reconciliations, dashboards, and more.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the company's financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, audit, tax, accounting, and treasury.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare and present financial reports, including financial statements, to the executive team and board of directors.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and manage cash flow to ensure the company's financial stability.
- Utilize financial dashboards to provide real-time data and insights on the company's financial status.
- Work closely with the sales and operations teams to understand and manage the financial aspects of wholesale distribution, e‑commerce, and import/export activities.
- Analyze and optimize the financial aspects of the company's consumer goods and consumer electronics portfolios.
- Identify and implement strategies for financial growth and profitability.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, preferably within the Accounting + Finance industry.
- Proven experience with financial statements, bank reconciliations, and dashboards.
- Experience in wholesale distribution, e‑commerce, import/export, importing, exporting, consumer goods, and consumer electronics is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or relevant certification (such as CFA/CPA) is preferred.
- Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and databases.
