Overview: We're seeking a Vice President - Wealth Advisor to serve as the primary point of contact for high-net-worth clients, delivering personalized wealth management strategies and exceptional client experiences.
In this role, you'll partner with a team of specialists to provide holistic wealth advice, investment guidance, banking solutions, and strategic planning tailored to each client's unique needs. You'll play a critical role in deepening relationships, growing the business, and helping clients navigate important financial decisions with confidence.
Essential responsibilities of the Vice President - Wealth Advisor:
Serve as a Trusted Advisor
  • Act as the lead relationship manager for a portfolio of high-net-worth clients.
  • Develop a deep understanding of clients' financial goals, family dynamics, risk tolerance, liquidity needs, and legacy objectives.
  • Deliver a highly personalized, concierge-style client experience.
  • Conduct ongoing relationship reviews and proactive planning discussions.
  • Coordinate solutions and recommendations with internal specialists across trust, estate planning, investment management, lending, treasury management, and commercial banking.

Grow the Business
  • Expand assets under management, deposits, lending relationships, and fee-based revenue.
  • Develop referral relationships with attorneys, CPAs, business owners, and other centers of influence.
  • Build strong partnerships across the organization to identify and capitalize on referral opportunities.
  • Represent the organization in community, networking, and business development activities.

Provide Comprehensive Wealth Planning
  • Deliver holistic wealth management guidance, including:
    • Retirement planning
    • Estate and legacy planning coordination
    • Tax-aware investment strategies
    • Insurance and risk management considerations
    • Cash flow and liquidity planning
    • Business succession planning
  • Simplify complex financial concepts and communicate recommendations clearly and confidently.
  • Stay current on market trends, regulatory developments, and wealth management best practices.

Support Investment Strategy & Portfolio Management
  • Partner closely with Investment Portfolio Managers to develop investment solutions aligned with client objectives.
  • Participate in portfolio reviews and performance discussions.
  • Help ensure investment recommendations remain suitable, compliant, and aligned with clients' long-term goals.

Collaborate Across the Wealth Team

Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in related business/finance field of study
  • 7+ years of financial services experience
  • CFP, MBA, CFA, CPA, or JD designation preferred
  • Demonstrated success in a sales and business development role in banking/financial services sourcing new clients through individual calling and networking.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong organizational skills, good-judgement and decision making, and ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be an active member of the community by attending networking events and developing relationships with centers of influence.
