Job Description: Vice President, Global Supply Chain Applications
Role Overview
As the Vice President, Global Supply Chain Applications, you will occupy a critical, high-visibility seat at the intersection of technology, strategy and operations. You are responsible for the strategic vision, delivery, and management of the digital ecosystem that powers our global supply chain. This is a dual-influence role: you will serve as a key member of both the IT Leadership Team and the Global Supply Chain Leadership Team. Your mission is to transform Colgate-Palmolive's supply chain into a competitive advantage through modern architecture, data-driven insights, and a future-forward AI strategy.
Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a multi-year IT roadmap for Global Supply Chain that aligns with corporate growth objectives. You will balance "keeping the lights on" with aggressive digital transformation.
  • Organizational Management: Lead, mentor, and scale an extended global team of Supply Chain IT professionals, fostering a culture of agility, technical excellence, and business-first thinking.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Act as the primary bridge between Global Information Technology and Global Supply Chain operations. You must speak the language of both a Logistics Manager and a Software Architect. Partnerships within Global Information Technology, as part of the Global Applications Leadership team and leading the Global Supply Chain IT Council are critical to the success of the role
  • Financial Stewardship: Oversee the Supply Chain IT applications budget, ensuring disciplined investment in technology that yields high ROI and operational efficiency.
  • Modernization & Architecture: Drive the transition from legacy systems to modern, cloud-native platforms. Ensure the application stack is scalable, secure, and integrated.
  • Innovation & AI: Lead the charge on Advanced Analytics and Artificial Intelligence from Supply Chain IT perspective. Partnering with Supply Chain Global Process Leaders, you will identify use cases for AI to optimize processes such as demand planning, warehouse automation, and predictive maintenance.
  • External Ecosystems: Manage high-level relationships with strategic technology partners and vendors (e.g., SAP, Kinaxis,Supply Chain SaaS providers) to ensure Colgate-Palmolive remains at the cutting edge.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in CS, Engineering, Information Systems, Finance or related field
  • 15+ years of experience in IT leadership, with a significant focus on Supply Chain systems in a large-scale, global manufacturing or FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) environment.
  • Deep domain expertise in end-to-end Supply Chain processes (Plan, Source, Make, Deliver).
  • Strong understanding of modern ERPs, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and IoT in manufacturing.
  • A firm believer that "data is the new oil." You understand how to structure data for advanced analytics and how to leverage it for real-time decision-making.
  • You aren't just following the AI hype; you understand the practical application of Machine Learning and Generative AI in solving complex logistics and production challenges.
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale organizational change and digital shifts in a complex, matrixed environment.

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $270,000.00 - $320,000.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
