Regional Sales Manager – New Business

We design and manufacture the world’s leading industrial and IT enclosures, racks, and accessories, including high efficiency, high-density power management, and climate control systems for industrial, data center, outdoor and hybrid applications.
Regional Sales Manager is responsible for leading efforts in identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities in the assigned region. This role focuses on expanding our client base, entering new markets, and driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships and innovative sales approaches.  Additionally, the Regional Sales Manager will work on strategic assignments, as assigned by the Regional Vice President.  These assignments are intended to create growth opportunities for the Regional Sales Manager to support career advancement.
Preferred Location: Atlanta, GA, Charlotte, NC, Raleigh, NC, Greenville, SC, Orland, FL 
Primary Activities/Duties:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
  • Analyze market trends, client needs, and competitive dynamics to guide sales strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, operations) to align offerings with market demand.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals that meet revenue and profitability goals.
  • Track and report on sales performance, pipeline development, and market trends.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
  • Drive regional engagement with the Vertical Market Team’s strategy by translating national priorities into actionable regional plans, coordinating field activities, and aligning reps and distributors to targeted accounts and applications.
  • Support major OEM, EU, and distribution engagements where multi-touch coordination is required, ensuring momentum without needing Regional VP escalation.
  • Strategic Partnerships & Alliancesdevelop relationships with complementary technology partners (Rockwell, Siemens, ABB, Phoenix Contact, etc.) to further reach into new accounts
Knowledge & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and use data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Travel required >65%
