Job Title: Hardware Test Engineer – Electronics Verification & Validation

Job Description

The Hardware Test Engineer leads verification and validation activities for embedded computing and electronic hardware products. This role defines test strategies, develops comprehensive qualification plans, and validates hardware designs ranging from integrated computer systems to custom circuit boards. The engineer plays a key role in establishing and improving testing processes as the organization expands its internally developed hardware portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute detailed verification and validation plans for electronic hardware products.
  • Lead hardware qualification testing, including environmental, functional, reliability, and stress testing for embedded computing and circuit board designs.
  • Evaluate new electronic designs and determine appropriate test methodologies, tools, and procedures.
  • Support board-level testing, troubleshooting, and failure analysis to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
  • Define component-level and system-level qualification requirements to ensure robust performance and compliance.
  • Generate clear and accurate test reports, documenting results, observations, and recommendations for engineering stakeholders.
  • Communicate test findings and technical insights to cross-functional engineering teams and contribute to design reviews.
  • Support compliance and qualification efforts for military and ruggedized electronic applications.
  • Drive testing activities related to EMI/EMC, shock, vibration, power quality, and environmental requirements.

Pay and Benefits
