Compensation for this position will be determined based on a combination of factors, including education, professional certifications, relevant experience, and other job-related considerations permitted by law.
Role Overview
The Director of Sales US & Canada leads the commercial strategy and sales organization across the U.S. and Canadian markets, with accountability for driving sustainable, profitable growth across porcelain enamel, ceramic coatings, and glass product segments. This role establishes market priorities, develops growth strategies for existing and emerging segments, and strengthens strategic customer relationships to expand share of wallet and accelerate new business opportunities. The position provides leadership across commercial strategy, sales execution, market development, customer partnerships, profitability, and commercial excellence. Success in this role requires strategic leadership, strong business acumen, and a proven ability to translate market and customer opportunities into long-term profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities
  • Define and execute commercial strategies, market priorities, and comprehensive business plans to drive sustainable profitable growth across existing and emerging market segments.
  • Lead the U.S. and Canada commercial organization by establishing performance expectations, developing commercial capabilities, managing performance and recognition, and leading organizational change.
  • Develop and strengthen strategic relationships with key accounts and business partners to increase share of wallet, identify and qualify new prospects, and accelerate conversion of commercial opportunities.
  • Evaluate emerging market segments, competitive dynamics, customer needs, and commercial performance to identify growth opportunities and prioritize product development and value-added services.
  • Negotiate strategic supply agreements and commercial arrangements that strengthen customer partnerships and support sustainable profitability and business growth.
  • Drive commercial excellence by implementing CRM, sales processes, tools, and training that improve opportunity management, sales execution, customer relationships, and market penetration.
  • Manage annual commercial budgets, analyze business and sales performance, and develop actions to improve growth, profitability, resource allocation, and achievement of business objectives.

Required Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: 10+ years of management experience with a proven track record of successfully managing sales across multiple markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute commercial strategies, drive profitable growth, and manage complex business and market priorities.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and build strong business relationships.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
  • Knowledge of SAP and Power BI.
  • Experience with strategic planning.
