Job description

Love Pets? Love People? Join Our Front Desk Pack!

Are you the kind of person who greets a dog before their owner? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where every "patient" has a wagging tail or a soft purr? If you’re a master multitasker with a heart for animals and a passion for people, we want to meet you!
As our Veterinary Receptionist, you are the face (and voice) of our clinic. You’ll be the hero who calms a nervous pet parent, the pro who keeps our schedule humming, and the friendly face that welcomes every furry friend through our doors.
What You’ll Do:
  • The Ultimate Welcome: Greet clients and their pets with warmth and a smile.
  • The Calendar Conductor: Manage appointments and keep our clinic’s heartbeat steady.
  • The Bridge: Answer calls, provide pet care info, and act as the vital link between our medical team and our clients.
  • The Support System: Process payments, manage records, and occasionally lend a hand with basic animal handling during exams.
  • The Vibe Manager: Keep our reception area clean, organized, and welcoming for everyone.

What You Bring to the Table:
  • People Skills: Exceptional communication and a professional, compassionate attitude.
  • Cool Under Pressure: The ability to juggle phone calls, check-ins, and puppy cuddles without breaking a sweat.
  • Experience (A Plus!): Prior experience in a vet clinic or animal care is great, but we’re happy to train someone with a stellar customer service background and a genuine love for animals.
  • The Extras: Knowledge of vet terminology or experience with dog training/handling is a huge bonus!
  • Availability: Weekend availability is required as part of this position.

Why Join Us?
You’ll be part of a dedicated team that treats every pet like family. Your work directly supports the health and happiness of our local pet community, and no two days are ever the same!
Comprehensive Benefits: 401(k), Health, Dental, Vision, Paid Time Off, and a generous Employee Discount.

Ready to start your journey with us? If you’re ready to turn your passion for pets into a rewarding career, we’d love to hear from you!
